DOR's OBEDIENCE TRAINING and SOCIALIZATION (DOTS) To be effective training a dog, you need to execute with the right approach for your dog and the right situation as well as with the correct intensity, timing, and frequency to be successful. Note: A dog's household trainer needs to be an adult or an older teen as it takes a degree of social intelligence and coordination. Younger children can be instructed by dog's older household trainer. Avondale Dog Service Options 1)For those who have the time, energy, and talent to be your dog's trainer, we have a complete program here including tips on dog care and bonding. (Time Commitment- 3-6 months depending on skill w/ 20 min daily of homework) We can teach you all the basics to the most advanced stages of human and dog connection, ie. dog whispering. 2) For those want results of dog training in less time but have refreshes training refined from time to time and overstay stay is needed. Please see VIP Dog Care w DOTS instead. Add on Dog Training during visit and Owner Training sessions afterwards. We can work on some training with your dog when he/she boards here. We observe behaviors and try different methods to change/improve execution. Then we train the dog and find the simplest command/cue for you. Take some owner training sessions to work 1 on 1 in more detail. Note: Faster than Owner Training as dog will be professionally trained 1st and be learning cues. Then the owner just needs to learn how to ask. Not dog and owner being trained at the same time. |
