Friday - 8 year old Cavachon Adult
Friday's dog parents needed a safe place for him to stay at the last minute. They just got word their son was returning home from military deployment and they wanted to go visit him. Although an adult and settling nicely the 1st night, Friday woke up the next morning worried about being away from home even though his owner's did not think he would. Friday like all dogs do not understand why they are here.
Type of Barker- Barks as an alert and for attention. Eating Habits- Not a fussy eater. Eats all food at one time. Potty Breaks- Good about doing his business outside. Bad Habits- Runs out the door or through doors in the house without. Jumps, pulls, barks when excited. Approach- We put Friday's mind and body to work with agility obstacles in the round pen. Friday impressed me with especially how well he picked up the slalom or weave pole. Also going to new places on walks in public places. Results- Friday was calmer and more confident as well as be respectful and trusting of humans. In a few days, no more running off, pulling, jumping. He even loved to learn to calmly meeting the Icelandics, those big dogs in pastures every day. Hi Dor, I just wanted to send you a message and thank you once again for your help with Friday. He is doing so well and we so are we. He listens and waits. He's a pleasure on walks now, doesn't pull or jump. I took him to RTC today and he stayed by my side. I am truly amazed that you were able to do in days what we've been trying to do for years! Thank you 🙂 |
